I was born and grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. There I attended Catholic elementary and high school. After graduation I entered St. Mark's Seminary. I was transferred to Borromeo Seminary College of Ohio where I received my BA Degree. I eventually left the seminary, moved to Orlando, Florida, where I taught in a Catholic high school, met my future wife, married, and we have one son. During this time I received my MA Degree from St. Thomas University. We moved from Orlando in the mid-eighties to the Baltimore-Washington area at which time I began full-time, professional ministry in catechesis. I am proud to say that in 2001 I was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership. I recently retired from the Archdiocese of Baltimore's catechetical team and now serve part-time as the Pastoral Associate for Liturgy and Ministry Development at St. John's in Frederick. Md.
