Sr. Kathy Burton,ssj is a Sister of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill. Sister has taught on the elementary and junior high school levels. She has served in the Newark Archdiocese as a Director of Faith Formation in three parishes. Sister most recently served as the co- Director of faith and family Life and lay ministry formation for the Diocese of Camden in southern New Jersey Sister received her BA in History from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, a Masters in Religious Studies from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She obtained certificate in family counseling from Iona College in New Rochelle. In addition, Sister has done post graduate work in adult and family faith formation at Regis University in Denver, Col. Sister served for 6 years on the Executive Board of NPCD ( National Parrish catechetical Leaders) Recipient for the NPCD Religious Education Excellence Award in 2008
