For more than 30 years I have been a Consociate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province. Recently, I entered Candidacy I Formation (Novitiate) with the Dominican Laity of St. Albert the Great Province. Currently, I am studying for the Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) degree in Practical Theology at Barry University (Miami, Florida). I earned the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) from St. Norbert College (De Pere, Wisconsin) and I teach/lead Adult Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. In my home parish In Albuquerque, I am a member of the RCIA and Adult Confirmation teams and a Catholic Daughter of America. I have facilitated days of reflection for religious order associations, volunteered in pastoral care at the local teaching hospital, and was Animator of Koinonia on the RCIA Leadership Formation Team for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. I am a semi-retired speech-language pathologist having earned my Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in that field at the University of South Dakota and the University of New Mexico, respectively. I have a rescue pup named Sandy and I am the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Public Affairs Officer for the Albuquerque flotilla. I am also a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the Catholic Writers Guild where I review books seeking the Seal of Approval (SOA) “to help Catholic bookstores and venues in their determination of the Catholicity of a work.” I have been active with the UD VLCFF for ten-plus years, first as an e-learner and now as a facilitator.
