Marie Turney Morrison, MA, is a retired Special Educator. She worked with students ranging from kindergarten age through high school. She is a speaker for the Formation of Christian Service and a Catechetical Presenter for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Marie is an Intra-Archdiocesan Catechist who travels to rural areas to catechize for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. She is a catechist, lector and Eucharistic Minister at her parish of Santa Maria De La Paz in Santa Fe, NM. She is Chair of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Advisory Council of Religious Education and is a recipient of the Dominican Ecclesial Institute Award for Excellence in Adult Faith Formation. She is a facilitator for the University of Dayton. Her students include those in the diaconate program both for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and elsewhere in the USA and abroad. She facilitates several courses in the Special Education sector of VLCFF as well as various courses offered by the UD Faith Formation community. She is a native of Santa Fe,NM, has been married for 37 years, has three adult children and three grandchildren, a fourth one on the way!
