Maggie holds a B.A. in Music Therapy and M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Emmanuel College, Boston, MA and M.A. in Theology with an Advanced Certificate in Liturgy from Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, NY. She has also completed a D.Min. in Religious Education and a PhD in Theological Studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation, Sarasota, FL. Maggie is Director of Religious Education at the Beverly Catholic Collaborative in Beverly, MA and is also a Lecturer of online courses for the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, LA and teaches at Merrimack College, N. Andover, MA. She has over 35 years of experience in parish ministry in particular catechetics, liturgy and youth ministry. She has worked in parishes in the dioceses of Birmingham, AL, Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA, Archdiocese of Baltimore, MD and Archdiocese of Boston. She also served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of World Studies--Religious/Catholic Studies with Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA from 2006-2011. Maggie edited a college text: Human Expressions of Spirituality by Cognella a division of University Readers (2011). It is a collection of essays by scholars in the fields of history, theology and spirituality from the primal peoples to the world's great religious traditions including secular spirituality. Her academic interests include spirituality, women's studies and Catholic morality. Maggie is an Associate with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. She also loves the mountains and the shore along with hiking and biking in God's creation.
