Dr. Dudley is a consultant in leadership development, ministry formation and curriculum. He recently (August 2019) retired as Assistant Director for Certification of Ecclesial Ministry in the Secretariat of Catholic Education of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Formerly Director of Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Washington, Harry has a BA in philosophy from SUNY at Stony Brook, NY, an STB (systematic theology) from Catholic University of America and a D. Min. with a focus on religious education from the Graduate Theological Foundation, Indiana. His Doctoral project focused on the Spiritual Life of Children and Consequences for Those Who Form Them. He has been in catechetical ministry since 1966 serving as a catechist for all ages from kindergarten through adult in parish, school, special needs and diocesan office settings. He and his wife, Patricia, have three young adult children: Martin, Neil and Kathleen. His oldest son Martin and wife Krystle jace gifted them with three grandchildren: Austin, Ashlyn and Dylan.
