Cheryl currently serves as the Pastoral Associate for Life-Long Faith Formation at St. Pius X Parish in Urbandale, Iowa. Additionally, Cheryl is a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Iowa State University. Cheryl has been involved in the field of faith formation/religious education for over thirty years. She has served as a catechist in a variety of settings including parish faith formation processes, elementary schools, high school theology teacher and campus minister, retreat center staff member, parish Director of Religious Education, Pastoral Associate and in diocesan catechetical offices in Wheeling, West Virginia and Des Moines, Iowa. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies/Theology and History; a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies/Theology from Mundelein College in Chicago, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
