Esther Garcia, is the Director of Outreach and Diocesan Relations of the National Catholic Partnership on Disability in Washington DC. She holds a bachelor’s of arts in Communications, and Certificates in Bible Studies and Pastoral Formation, Master Catechist, Catechetical Leadership and Training from the Diocese of Dallas. She has almost 30 years of experience as a catechist, community and lay ecclesial minister in Mexico and the United States. Esther was a Director of Faith Formation at Sacred Heart Parish in the Diocese of Dallas and teacher at the Autism Treatment Center of Dallas. She is specialized in leading catechetical programs for children, youth, adults, and families. She also has experience on programs in special education, autism and others disabilities, early childhood and multicultural communities. Esther is a member of the representative council of the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL), The Federation for Catechesis with Hispanic (FCH), The National Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry (CCHM), La RED Pastoral Juvenil Hispana and The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas.
