Donna Ryan is currently a campus minister and religion teacher at Saint Dominic Academy in Jersey City, New Jersey. Donna's teaching background includes grades K-12 as a social studies, language arts, theology and gifted and talented specialist. In addition to more than 20 years in education, Donna served as Director of Family Catechesis and Adult Faith Formation at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in northern New Jersey for five years. She is happily married for 27 years and is the mother of three grown children. She holds an MA in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University and an MA in Counseling from Liberty University. Donna is a licensed therapist in private clinical practice. She works mostly with families, adolescents and couples. As Director of Faith Formation, Donna's visionary leadership helped to revitalize the parish using Family Catechesis as a means for evangelization. Donna's past accomplishments include development of a school improvement plan for Holy Spirit School in Pequonnock which was adopted for use by Paterson Diocese for AdvancedED accreditation. Her curriculum expertise was instrumental in guiding the school through an extensive curriculum mapping project that served as a model for Paterson Diocese.
