My name is David Sikorra. I retired from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) several years ago but before doing so I was fortunate enough to obtain my master's Degree in Pastoral Theology/Spiritual Direction from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. It was one of the most fulfilling experiences I have ever had. While with the DEA I worked in Haiti, Burma, Seattle, Washington DC and Los Angeles. After retiring and moving to Florida I went to work as the Director of Faith Formation at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Ormond Beach, Diocese of Orlando. My wife and I are now happily settled in Daytona Beach. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, I worked as a police officer for eight years before joining the DEA and moving away from the Minnesota winters for good. I have recently had my first book, "Search for the Authentic", published by Wilpf and Stock, Resource Publications, which was a transforming experience in the making and hopefully an exciting experience in the reading.
