Emily Strand is author of Mass 101: Liturgy and Life (Liguori, 2013) and Your Baby's Baptism (Liguori, 2015). Strand was Campus Minister and Director of Liturgy at the University of Dayton for seven years, where she also taught courses in Catholicism and liturgy for the Religious Studies Department. Now she teaches Comparative Religions to BSN students at Mt. Carmel College of Nursing and serves as a Master Catechist for the Catholic Diocese of Columbus, OH. She has written many essays for HogwartsProfessor.com about the Christian themes in Harry Potter, Star Wars and other fantasy franchises and now has her own blog: LiturgyandLife.com. She serves her parish in Columbus as a Lector and music minister.
