Course Facilitator Details

My name is Alicia Darnell. I am first and foremost a home educator to my three children. I have recently began teaching a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation Course at Benedictine College. I am blessed to facilitate VLCFF courses at the same time I care for and educate my family! I received my Masters of Theology from University of Dayton and am certified as a catechist (and in the process of becoming a formation leader) for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). It is such a blessing to watch the faith of children grow through this beautiful program! My husband has worked in faith formation for over a decade. I have been blessed to work alongside him in various capacities of ministry in four different parishes in four different diocese! He currently works at a college seminary doing human formation with the seminarians. It is a gift for our family to walk alongside these young men. Another part of our lives is a calling to covenant Catholic community of which we have been a part for nearly a decade. We are always brainstorming about how to better promote the mission of the church in the world and to evangelize both within the church and to those in the broader community.
