Our Blessed Mother, Mary, is seen as a mother-figure in many cultures. The goal of this seminar is to present the basic concept of Mary as Mother of God as seen in art, and some global perspectives for enrichment, as well as a deeper appreciation of the role she plays within other cultures.

  • To appreciate other cultural images of Mary
  • To create or compose one’s (own) image of Mary as a guide to prayer.
