Certificate in Marianist Studies

Audience

  1. Members of Marianist Lay Communities and Lay Marianist in Formation
  2. Directors, Board Members, and Employees of Marianist Institutions
  3. Marianist Sisters, Brothers, Priests, novices, and aspirants
  4. MEAs, Marianist Educators, Spiritual Accompaniment Program members

Prerequisites

  • Remember, you are required to read Chaminade's Message Today by Eduardo Benlloch before beginning your course work. The book is available from the NACMS bookstore at www.nacms.org or call (937) 429-2521.

Requirements

  1. Applicants must complete six 5-week courses offered, and three 3-week seminars.
  2. VLCFF Marianist courses already completed will count toward the certificate.
  3. It is recommended that the Founders and Community courses be completed first.
  4. Pre-requisite reading: Chaminade's Message Today, by Eduardo Benlloch, available from the NACMS bookstore at www.nacms.org
  5. Participants must receive at least a "very good" on each course for the course to count toward the final Certificate.
  6. It is your responsibility to register for classes and keep track of your progress in the program. When you have finished the program, contact Richard Drabik with your request for your certificate of completion.
  7. Upon registering for this certificate program, you will need to register for your first course. You are not automatically registered for the first course by completing this application.
