Location: Granite City, Illinois, United States

I have recently retired as the Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation at St. Jerome Parish in Troy, Illinois. I live in Granite City and have been married to my husband, Jim, for 49 years. We have 2 adult sons, a daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons. I am a graduate of the Master's Program in Corporate Ministry from St. Louis University. I have been a Lay Ecclesial Minister for over 25 years, working in Parish Faith Formation Ministry, as a High School Theology Teacher and Campus Minister, and also as a Volunteer and Advocacy Coordinator at a St. Louis County Homeless Shelter. I have served on the Springfield Diocesan Pastoral Council, the Alton Deanery Pastoral Council, and have served on various diocesan task forces and committees. I chose to become Catholic while pregnant with my second son. I have spent my adult life being thankful for the gift of faith God has given me and am always looking for creative ways to pray and share with others.
