Biography of Rev. Peter G. Jankowski Adjunct Professor – University of St. Francis Ordained as a priest of the Joliet Diocese in 1996, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at the Catholic University of America (Washington, DC) and my Master's Degree in Divinity and Licentiate in Sacred Theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake (Mundelein, IL). I have celebrated the sacraments in all seven counties of the Joliet Diocese, both for the sake of our English and Spanish speaking communities. Since 2006, I have served as pastor of St. Patrick's Church (Joliet, IL), which you are all most welcome to come and visit (this will give you an opportunity to roll your eyes at my in person). St. Patrick's Church is noted as the oldest Catholic Church in Northern Illinois (since 1838). With my trusty pain in the neck dog Rusty at my side (he's a sixty pound Basset Hound and he's all trouble), I spend my days taking care of the wonderful folks that make up our parish. In my spare time (what spare time?) I enjoy writing children's music and spending time with my family. At the University of St. Francis, I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor who has taught the Introduction to Theology Course as well as the Introduction to the New Testament, Introduction to the New Testament, Christianity in the Modern World (online) and Ethics in the Workplace.
